winter cabin rental
Thanks for visiting our winter cabin rental page...
While El Morro often has mild winters, a shift in El Nino will produce heavier snows at times. But 3" - 5" is typical, with the majority melting off by the end of the day. And since we are located just off HWY 53, county snow plows can usually maintain our access to both nearby towns, Grants and Gallup, each on I40. All of this makes a winter rental of one of our Cabins at El Morro RV, a real possibility.
Even during the winter there are many things to do locally. Visit our outdoor art installations on the property and across the street at the Old School Gallery or have a delicious breakfast or lunch at the Cafe. The Gallery hosts numerous events throughout the year, from concerts and open mics, to festivals, dinners, and art showings. But winter is a great time to take in the quiet and appreciate this pristine and sacred land. You will gain a perspective very different from the busier summer months.
And don't forget Friday and Saturday evening Gourmet meals at our Cafe. People come from miles away for our amazing pastries, desserts and pies. The Cafe is closed on Wednesdays, but otherwise open 9- 5 each day, staying open until 8:00 p,m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
